July 1st, 2002:
1. Why the hell did Rich stop doing "La Dee Da Dee" on the last few BMM tour dates? I was sooo sad to see him not do it when I was in Virginia! Sooo GRRR!!
February 11th, 2002:
1. AGAIN, we must bitch about the lack of tour dates up here on the East Coast! Please join us here at Situation Be Silly in a collective WHINE!
2. No LIG video: What's up with this crap? Who do we need to shoot and fire!?!?!? Because this BS with kick butt LFO songs (ie: West Side Story) getting no video seriously sucks!
3. Release date of LIG: Who's lovely idea was it to release it to radio AND THEN 3 MONTHS LATER decide to release it commercially? Didn't anyone ever teach their management and J Recs that timing is everything? Combine this with the lack of a video and we have the makings of a not so hot single! WHY THE HELL DOES LFO ALWAYS GET SCREWED OVER! GRR! Cristin: And doing this to my favorite song from the album is sooo not cool!
February 3rd, 2002:
1. ABC channel 7 out of NYC: They decided to ruin our New Year's Eve and cut to the inauguration of Bloomberg as Mayor of NYC when Rich yelled "JUMP!" during EOT! Why must they cut to that CRAP in the middle of our babies?? BTW, Steph's boyfriend thought Cristin was going throw things at the TV when they cut off Rich! And yeah, they sang the clean version too..WTF, Dick Clark? You made them do that on the Family Honor Awards too!
2. Lack of Devin: There were NO Devin shots during EOT on Dick Clark and they didn't even let him sing "that's the way I liiiiikkke it". What the heck? Now Steph was ready to throw things about this! She did point out how much they showed of Tim...lol...but was pissed that they forgot about Devin in the cornrows and cut out his lil solo bit! And, btw, haven't we had this problem (Slime Time Live?) before with lack of Devin shots?
3. Z100 and Life is Good: How can a radio station so influential as Z100 in NYC claim to NOT HAVE THE DAMN SINGLE! Do you know how many people have emailed to tell Cristin and Winter that the damn DJs over there tell the fans when they request that they either "don't have it" or "never got it"? WTF?Yeah, we're sure when J Records was sending out the single to radio stations, they conveniently forgot to send it to a station who helped break Summer Girls! Rich, go kick some Z100 ass!
4. USA TODAY Review: "10. LFO, Life Is Good. Or it was, at least, until I popped in the latest CD from these overambitious boy toys. Nothing personal, guys, but next time, leave the writing to Max Martin." If we left the writing up to Max Martin, instead of the LFO boys, we'd have nonsense words like "tragical" and "does his friends get all your time"....at least Rich speaks semi-correct English, his songs are original....and we wouldn't want LFO singing a Max Martin song anyway! Can we not put them into the boy band genre for once?
5. Life is Good Single: Ok, straight and to the point: WHY THE HELL IS THE DAMN CD SINGLE 5 FREAKING DOLLARS?? All we want to know is who the hell prices these things? So we can blame someone on this site!
January 16th, 2002:
1. AMAZING DISAPPEARING TOUR DATES: Gotta love how dates appear, ticketbastard.com sells tickets, the date disappears from websites, but the show is still confirmed, and then BAM, 2 days before the show it's cancelled! We're still crying over this one, folks! Anyone have a cure for LFO deprivation?
2.CONFLICTING SCHEDULES SUCK: So not only do we have amazing disappearing tour dates, we have conflicting ones too! FABULOUS! *roll eyes* Gotta love how the 3 official LFO organizations have seemed to conflict each other in the tour dates department recently! The fan club, official site, and J Recs Street Team all need to get together and make sure they all post the same dates! If they didnt realize, it tends to make fans and webmasters and promo people a tad insane!
3. Don't post that there's a signing at Macy's when the signing is at Bloomingdale's. Again, the misinformation seems to make us all a little insane, in addition to sounding like idiots when we call Macy's to find out info and being asked if we were on crack cause they didn't have a clue!
4. Nicky: We never thought there would be a day that we would include Devin's girl on this site, but we feel for the girl! THE PRESS HAS NOW BEEN MISSPELLING HER NAME! So the press has taken our advice and gotten Devin's name right....but they've moved on to spelling Nicky's name wrong! We've seen like 6 versions of her name recently. Could they please spell Devin and Nicky's names right? Is it that hard? For the record, the correct version is Nicole "Nicky" Bothelo, we think! LOL!
October 27th, 2001:
1. Since when is Jason the guitar player in LFO? They showed him and showed more close ups of him during the Slime Time Live EOT performance than they did of Devin! Steph is not amused! They even showed a freakin' crotch shot of Jason! Was the cameraman confused who exactly was in LFO? Not that we don't like Jason, we do...he was sweet when we met him, it's just that he's not in LFO...and we would've loved a Rich, Brad, or Devin crotch shot instead!
2. Along those lines...We were all excited to hear Devin sing his EOT solo, the "That's the way I likeeeee it...." part, but do they show Devy singing it? NO! Guess who they showed instead? Jason! LOL! *shakes head* We just don't get it...the cameramen must have been throughly confused. Next time, we'll operate the cameras and give the fans the footage they've been craving! *evil grin*
September 24th, 2001:
1. Cristin was very excited to go see LFO in NYC at the Elle Girl launch party, but became extremely pissed off when LFO got out of their town car to do the red carpet and press line and a freaking NYC transit bus stops right in front of all the fans waiting to go into the party! Perfect timing for the bus to get stuck in traffic in front of the Roxy! Couldn't have been a regular car that got stuck between LFO and the fans...it had to be a freaking bus! So I think we all spent 5 agonizing minutes waiting for that bus to move so we could see the guys again!
2. The "in-limbo" status of the NJ show on the 23rd is really starting to piss us off. Ticketmaster is selling tickets...we even bought them, but neither the J records LFO team nor LFO's official site is confirming the show. We don't get it! Just don't cancel the show! We've been looking forward to this for a month now! **UPDATE: THEY FREAKIN' POSTPONED THE SHOW! GRR!
3. JENNY JONES: I was excited to see LFO on Jenny Jones. I was even reminded to tape it...but NJ GOT SCREWED! The channel that normally shows Jenny was running the Jerry Lewis Telethon (Ok, let's clear up that I have no problem with Jerry raising money for a good cause..just don't pre-empt my LFO! LOL!). So after a quick scramble for the paper, I find an alternate channel. But when Jenny comes on, is it the LFO episode? NO! It's a freakin' rerun with the BeatNuts! WTF?
September 10th, 2001:
1. Just Rich at the Miss Teen USA pageant? *Whines* WHERE ARE DEVIN AND BRAD? We would've loved and paid good money to see Rich, Brad, and Devin duke it out over who they were gonna vote for if they all shared one judges chair!
2. Ok, apparently people are STILL spelling Devin's first name wrong! We were paging through the latest issue of BOP magazine at WalMart when we came across an LFO article and DEVIN'S NAME WAS SPELLED WRONG! For the last time, it is NOT D-E-V-O-N . We guess this rant will have to stay up until the day people can spell his name right!!
September 2nd, 2001:
1. CBS Family Honor Awards: Rant A-They changed the words! (Drove off with one hand in the air? Told everyone that I'm to blame?) Yeah, yeah, we know it was "family tv" but still, we like the original version better! Rant B- That was sooo NOT their band! *whines* Where was Tim? It looked like this goofy guy Al that we know playing the drums...Just for the record, this "band" *rolls eyes* was soo goofy looking! The cheesey smiles from the one guy behind Rich was too much! He looked like he belonged in "That Thing You Do" with Tom Hanks and his boy band! Or as our friend, Nicole, put it-"They're probably like one of those bands that is
part time. They put up drywall by day, musicians by night!" Where was Jason and the rest of the band? Huh? WHERE WERE THEY? Rant C- Was the band even plugged in? Because we didn't see any wires and didn't see Brad's guitar plugged in....
2. CosmoGirl needs to die for this: "We had pictures of Rich, Devin, and Brad with their shirts off, but we picked this one instead." What ever editor in charge of making that decision needs to be SHOT/FIRED! What on God's green Earth made them pick a fully clothed LFO over a half naked LFO? MORONS we tell ya!
August 10th, 2001:
1. What's up with AOL cutting Devin out of the picture on the page that pops up when you type in keyword: LFO??? Now that's just wrong!! Devin's part of the group too!!
2. So not only does the AOL LFO message board suck for cutting Devin out of the picture on the main page, but that whole board is totally whacked. Out of pure boredom, we checked it out, and did you know that Devin is dating Julia Stiles (the chick from Save The Last Dance)? HELLO! Where do people come up with this stuff? It's amazing how things like this get started...and *shakes head* Devin says the weirdest thing he's ever heard about himself was that he was gay?
3. Apparently, it's official, MTV is screwed up! Sure, play a trivia game with LFO and say the video premiered on 7/7...but when you show the video, put 7/11 in the premiere date box! Can I have a job as a fact checker at MTV, please? That way I can slack off and do a half as*ed job and get paid for it!
July 21st, 2001:
1.We're still waiting on a concert in the Philly/NJ area!! We are DYING to see the new stuff live! *looks around* Anyone out there feeling us on this one? **They had a show here finally (7/16)! It was the best day of our lives! See the encounters page soon for details!
2. People on message boards proclaiming how HUGE of an LFO fan they are, BUT SPELLING DEVIN'S NAME WRONG! We have addressed this in our "Things That Annnoy Us About Fans" page, but it bears repeating after all the misspellings we've seen of late! If you're such a HUGE FAN... SPELL IT RIGHT! I mean, geez, even reporters are spelling it wrong in articles now!
July 7th, 2001:
1. We live near some pretty popular tour stops-(read: NYC, Philadelphia, etc.)-but do you think LFO is coming here? NOPE! Hint: Guys, please add something for this area!! We want to see the new stuff live!!!! ****OK, we will take the signing in Woodbridge, NJ!!!! YAY! :) But we still want a concert!! lol! :) Are we greedy much? lol!
2. GRRRR at the TRL premiere of "Every Other Time" getting moved 6 thousand times!! BUT HELLOOOOO!!! LFO BOYS HALF NEKKID AND IN A POOL!!!! IT'S ALL GOOD, SO I FORGIVE THEM NOW! :)
