What follows came from Mike Caputo and LFO on 9/12/01 in regards to the recent tragedy that has occured here in the US....We, the site owners, would just like to send our regards to the families involved and will keep everyone in our prayers. We echo the sentiments of Mike that follow...

"Hey guys,first off, on behalf of LFO and myself, i wanted to say that our hearts go out to all the men and women who passed yesterday,and to the firefighters and police officers,paramedics,etc, who gave their lives trying to protect and serve the general public...we pray for their families, friends and loved ones... I wanted to personally thank all of our fans and friends for the overwhelming amount of e mails and phone calls that I received personally for myself and on behalf of LFO,making sure that LFO, myself and our loved ones were safe and sound... In this very difficult time for everyone in the US and across the world,it is very very comforting knowing that we have so many people out there who actually really care about more than just the music..While music is very important in our lives, this type of tragedy puts lifes priorities into perspective in a hurry... We were sound asleep in our beds on our tour bus driving through Nebraska, only to be awoken with the news about what was taken place,right after the first incident...we couldnt believe what had taken place, only to have a second incident take place a short time later, and then a third and a fourth..we scrambled to call our loved ones, and we now know that they frantically scrambled to call us to make sure we were ok..to make matters worse,it was hours before we could get through to anyone, not only were cell phones down because of excessive use across the country, but we were in an area of the country where there was really little or no signal at all ...there were even reports on the internet that myself and LFO were on one of the flights..All i can say is we are very thankful that we are safe and sound, and we are thankful to report that none of our loved ones,at least so far, were involved in this tragedy...we, like all Americans, are in mourning right now, and will be for a long time...In closing, when we went to bed the night before, we laughed, we joked, and the guys had just gotten offstage in Iowa on a natural high from an incredible show just hours earlier...When we awoke, none of that mattered anymore, our lives changed forever.....everything seems so surreal right now...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, SO SO MUCH, for being the people that you are,and for caring about 4 regular guys who feel the same pain as you..Please join us in prayer for all ....
