I (Cristin) went to the O-town concert in Boston with my friends (Jen, Amanda, Leslie, and Erin-the LBOS crew!)whom I was visiting. We had heard there was a possibility of Rich making an appearance due to his brother, Mike, being O-town's manager. We were there to see O-town, but if Rich showed up, it was fine by all of us! Well, we were about the 20-25th people to enter the club for the show and we go right up front to the stage when I hear Amanda scream at me, "CRISTIN!" and I'm like "Huh?" They all know I wanted to meet Rich again, since I was a bit of a mute when I met him before and I wanted a do over. Well, before I know it, Amanda grabs my arm and says "CRISTIN! RICH! GO!" and drags me (literally) over to the side of the club up by bar where low and behold was THE Rich Cronin in all his hotness! LOL!(For the record, he was wearing dark denim jeans and a jacket. Underneath he had on a blue and orange Virginia shirt. The Virginia was all done in rhinestones. Of course, the outfit was not complete with a new pair of Adidas shell toes on his feet. I believe I've already established that I check out his footwear when I meet him! In my opinion, it's the best I've ever seen him look in person!) I was staring in awe and Amanda started talking to him cause he remembered her and knows she runs the promo team. Finally Jen and the rest of the crew catches up with us. We left Jen standing behind wondering what the heck happened! Sorry Jen! Amanda introduced all of us and told him what we all do on the promo team. Well, Jen tells Rich I want my pic with him (because I was still so nervous and because I had only gotten a pic with Devin before) and he nicely says sure. So he puts his arms around me and Amanda and we get a pic. He knew that Amanda and Jen run the LFO promo team so he started trying to get us to talk to this guy that had credentials. Rich was all excited going "tell him what you do...the promo team...tell him!" and he basically ended up telling this guy (we still haven't figured out who he was) how we were his promo team and Rich thanked us all for all that we do for LFO. We chit chatted for a few and told him we liked the new material we heard. He said thank you and I spoke to him, so it was alllll good! Soooo apparently we were the first ones to spot him and thanks to us there was a bit of a crowd forming! LOL! We said thanks to Rich and apologized like 6 times for making a commotion. He said it was ok and we said bye. So Mike Cronin was standing a few feet behind Rich and Jen wanted to meet Mike, so me and Amanda went with her. We talked to Mike for a few and got our pics with him. He was really nice. So after that Rich was taking pics with people and Mike told him it was time to go backstage and I asked Mike real quick if I could get a pic with Rich before he left and he said sure, so I got a pic of just me with Rich and then Rich had to go. Well about 15 minutes into the opening acts, the radio station people came out and said they may have a surprise later during O-town's set and Jen turns to me like "Yeah, duh, it's Rich!" and me being clueless go "HUH?" and she's like "Cristin, you missed him say that he was going to be performing with O-town?" and I did miss it! :( Turns out while I was prolly freaking out in my head over talking to Rich, I missed half of what he was saying to us! Toward the end of O-town's set they said it was their manager's home town and that a few of them auditioned for O-town with his brother's song. So the O-town guys start doing "Girl on TV" and doing a damn good job of it, so when the rap part comes, Rich comes running out on stage and tears up the place and the crowd goes INSANE! So he finished "Girl on TV" with his "gimme the mic" freestyling and lord knows, how I love that! And he even did the WSS story rap at the end which was awesome to hear again!
