Welcome to the Lethbridge Legion Pipe Band home page. The Legion band, officially the Pipes and Drums of the General Stewart Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4, was resurrected in its current incarnation in 2005, and was incorporated as a non-profit society in the spring of 2007. The band tartan is a hunting Stewart (weathered colours).

The band meets Wednesday evenings at the Legion from 7 PM until roughly 9 PM. When weather permits, much of the practice takes place outside. Intermediate practice chanter/beginner pipes start at about 6:20 PM, and beginners on the practice chanter meet Saturday mornings at 10 AM.
The band welcomes both interested newcomers without any prior experience and experienced pipers and drummers to join us. Where possible, absolute beginners will be given tuition in a group setting free of charge, although because of the demands placed on limited rehearsal time, beginners are advised to seek out additional individual instruction outside band practice time. Band members can suggest suitable teachers for piping and drumming.
