The glistening wind blows.
Silence whips through the world.
The ocean is in an uproar,
splashing and screaming into the hollow sky.
Fluries of rainbows, scar my eyes.
Golden rays bounce off my skin.
Silence surrounds me,
And merges as one with me.
I feel its warmth,
Its need,
Its power.
Its heat seeps into and I am lost.
Lost in its darkness,
Its sadness,
Its pain.
Neon rays, flutter before me
And the sky shifts with the growing tides.
And there stand silence,
dressed in all its darkness,
Its beauty and its wonder.
Waiting for its next victim,
Upon the tides of the life.
I feel so alive tonight.
The stars are resting in my arms,
Life feels so good,
I fear none of the troubles presented at my feet.
I'm growing wings and flying away.
Into the sky so high and free of earthly lies.
