****Lucha Libre Was A Real Big Thing In The 80's Roberto Solloa A Talented Luchador Of The 60's Is Highly Credited With Bringing Lucha Libre To San Antonio. When "Maddog Cruz" (His Ring Name) Ventured Into Lucha Libre, It Wasn't The Big Deal Tv, Joe Blanchard Southwest Type Venue, It Was At Ramirez, Flea Market On Morsound Rd, In The Outskirts Of SA. It Was By All Means, Way Out In The Boonies, But Real Lucha Libre Fans Knew Of Lucha Libre Matinee Sundays At "Arena Valadez". Fans Back In The Day Loved Lucha Libre Especially When Roberto Solloa Was In Charge Of A Lucha Show. Arena Valadez And Its Owner "Pablo Valadez" With Roberto,Created The Best Lucha Show Ever. The Fans Had Bad Seating, With A Fence In Front Of Them That Surrounded The Ring, (Lucha Could Be Fierce Back Then, So For Safety They Put A Fence So No One Could Throw Objects At The Wrestlers) To The Fans It Was Great Lucha, With Solloa At The Helm The Talent Roster in The Year 1983 Consisted of Arandu (Who Went On To Work For Triple AAA) Yaki Moy (Trained A Young Lemus, Now "Sangre Chicana") El Horoscopo, Salvaje Anguiano (Chava Was Hated And Needed A Guard, Hahaha) Sota De Oros, Joven Maravilla, Yamba, El Indio, El Yaki, Aguilita, Black Hawk, Outlaw, Principe Odin, Bello Florindo, The Biker(Rip), Henry Guarino, Rudy Boy, Manuel Villalobos,Bob Garcia, Universitario, Lemus I, Jose Guerra, Even The Great "Mil Mascaras" The List Goes On.
