Meesha
is my special girl and always will be. She is the oldest or our German Shepherd long coats. She was not wanted when she was a pup and did not have the oppurtuninty to socialize as the other pups did. She was an ugly duckling. A long coat is not desirable to some breeders, especially in Europe. Some seem to feel that the long coats should be taken off the face of the earth and not recognized as the wonderful breed that they are. The breeder was smart to recognize my talents and she felt that if Meesha went to our home she would not be aggressive. I had raised Golden Retrievers so the long coat would be second nature to me. She was right! I loved the German Shepherds but truthfully I was not a fan of the wire short coat. Meesha has a smooth coat soft and is silkier than my Golden Retrievers that I had for 20 years!
My last golden past away with cancer and I searched what seemed like forever just to find this pup that needed me and boy did I need her. I hugged her tight and today we still hold on
to each other and I will never let go. Meesha is my pride and joy. We have done Rally to Obedience CD she has watched my store and has been my guardian. My children have kids of their own and she has been a nanny
and most important best friend to me. Meesha is special and if God or my goldens are looking down on us, thank you for the heart of a Golden and the brains of a Shepherd in Meesha..
