Time to get clean!

It's not easy to wash your hair in a freezing river...

Me and Luis

Allison hunting dinner??

These are our tents where we stayed for the week next to Pastor Mateo's house

Our second kid's lesson was creation, and we handed out Play Doh. The kids loved it

This jar of Play Doh wasn't very appetizing!

Justin is content on fixing that clip for me!

The El Shaddai worship team

and the kids who loved to dance at the service

We led the second half of worship for every service- well those of us that were musical (which doesn't include me). We sometimes led in English, learned some of our favorite songs in Spanish, and sometimes sung in both!

This is what happens when it rains in Chel for a whole night straight- we get flooded. Since it rarely rains until the rain season, there was nowhere dry to go or to put our stuff. That's ok- just a umm... minor.... inconvienance! It must have been all the Let It Rain we've been singing!

This is Erica's tent after the flood.

Hansel, Jolene, and Luis survive the trip from the shelter to El Shaddai in the dirt- now turned to mud- streets.

The men of Chel spent the whole day trying to protect our stuff from getting any more wet.

They also built this fire and collected firewood from everyone in the town so we could stay warm

The oldest daughter in Chel is reponsible for carrying and taking care of the youngest child.

Bart was the girls' favorite of the trip... what a lucky boy.

The next day and our second kids' lesson.

This lesson was about loving others and the kids got a chance to use crayons!

They were so proud of their coloring jobs!
