This painting was based on the photo from Corbis about a Kodiak bear crossing the river. When it was being worked, came the news about Maria Sharapova, a young tennis star from bear country Russia, winning the Wimbledon Cup. |

On that same day Jenna Bush sticking her tongue from inside the presidential limousine towards the press. As if she was trying to say to the press:"The tiger wants to lick me..........." |

This is to remember the death of Pat Tillman, an American football star who sacrifice his career to join the army, and was later on shot dead in Afghanistan. During the finishing of this painting, there was a movie "I, Robot" starred by Will Smith with the robots that look like the far right picture of Pat tillman in this painting. The shape of his body on that far right picture of this painting was made like faded away to depict his passing away from this world, and later on the painter realized that it was a little bit similar with the robots body in the movie "I, Robot". |

When this painting was being worked, there were two important occasion happened. The first was a conference on anti-semitism held in Berlin by OSCE, which was attended by German Chanselor and Israel president. The second was a successful launching of SpaceShipOne, funded by Microsoft's Paul G. Allen, designed by Burt Rutan, and piloted by Michael Melvill. The name of Paul G. Allen reminded the painter about the news in 2001 that Rahma was married to a policeman with an Arab blood. So this painting contains the representation of United States, German, Israel and Arab. |
