On Satuday March 15, 2003, the painter read a text in the newsbar on TV about the death of Mr. Eddy Yusuf, an Indonesian ex-badminton player famous in the fifties. It reminds the painter about his daughter, Wieke or Yulianti Yusuf, who happened to be the painter's classmate in the senior high school. So the painter took a glance at a list in some card names to find the phone numbers of another friend in the senior high school Nimaudin, with a plan  to ask him to make a condolence visit to Wieke on the next day. Yet later on the plan to contact him was delayed to the next week.

Then on the next week, Sunday March 23, 2003, some other things in the morning has distracted the painter's mind about the plan. So instead of contacting him, at around ten o'clock in the morning the painter took a visit to a public internet shop for an hour and a half, then continued to blok M, a famous shopping area  in southern Jakarta. 

Actually, at first the painter was thinking about going to a shopping plaza there, the Blok M Plaza, but later on it was switched to another nearby shopping plaza the Pasaraya Grande.

At the seventh floor, in the bookstore, the painter took a glance at some magazines in the shelves, some automotive magazines featuring the new Ford Mustang in its cover. Yet because the magazines is wrapped by plastic, it was impossible to see the inside pages. So the painter look at some of the pages on an unwrapped magazine. 

Then the painter took a few steps to the other parts of the book store, and a book about "Guidance on Teaching Piano" (an Indonesian Book with the title "Penuntun Mengajar Piano" written by Latifah Kodijat Marzoeki) catches the painter's  attention. 

Because the painter's nephew is learning piano in the recent months, so there came an idea about "what if she buy this book, to surprise her teacher.......".  What a clumsy idea. Yet the painter felt a need to take the book from the shelf and read some pages shortly.

Two days later, in the newspaper, the painter was surprised to find out that the winner for men's lead role in Oscar 2003 was Adrian Brody who....................has a similar look to the painter's old friend Nimaudin that the painter planned to call. And yet when the planned was distracted by other things, the painter was like being guided from above to Pasaraya Grande and took a glance to a book called  "Guidance on Teaching Piano". And Adrian Brody won the Oscar for his role in the film "The Pianist".

 As if there has been some layers of happenings that should take place to support the next things to happen. This sounds somewhat like a quantum kind of theory. Well, the painter uses the word "quantum" here because last night before writing this, the painter could not fell asleep until around half past twelve watching the Discovery program at TPI, a Jakarta TV station, about the quantum theories, about Newton, Einstein, Niels Bohr, JS Bell, atom, electrons, particles, wave, and others.
