To express that even though some girls might have guilty feelings for braking the painter's heart, actually for the painter it was not really broken heart. Because the painter realizes some limitation in the painter that make the girls leave the painter. So it is just half hearted broken heart, or like crocodile tears that only waiting to grab next good opportunities. Besides, the painter would not like them to have guilty feelings of breaking the painter's heart, as it would make the painter owe them something.

The idea was related to the name of the owner of this painting, Mr. Gatot, that similar to a name of a hero in puppet play Gatotkaca who could fly.

This painting was produced just a few days before Lennox Lewis won the fight on November 2001. Therefore the letters "NSAC" was then included in the left arm of the lion. As the match was against Hasheem Rahman, it was like a message "not to end Rahma".

Actually this painting has a historical value related to Penelope Cruz and Tom Cruise, as it was produced near the time when their movie "Vanilla Sky" being released. While on that movie Tom Cruise was riding a black Ferrari, which logo is rather similar to this painting. But because the painter has no e-mail address of any one of them, so they are not yet contacted.

When this painting was nearly finished, a picture of Ray Tomlinson of Bolt, Beranek and Newman, appeared in the newspaper with the background of big "@" sign behind him. As the inventor of the "@" sign for e-mail, I think he deserves to own this painting at a special price. |
