What was the Message?

The following two paintings and its responses really raise a question in the painter’s mind about what did she really meant. On August 8, 1997, she appeared with the logo of Harrods above her head, just like the painting of a lion with a parrot above its head. Two days later, on August 10, 1997, she appeared with Bosnian mountains on the background just like the mountains on the painting about the Indonesian first lady.

Was that related to the painter’s letter to her? A few months earlier, on March 23, 1997, the painter wrote her a letter about an idea regarding the possibility of becoming a first lady in Indonesia to fill the empty space. At that moment, the painter has heard no news about she became closer to Dody. As could be examined in the news data anywhere in Indonesian media, in the previous year, or in 1996, the Indonesian first lady has passed away. Therefore, it raised an idea in the painter’s mind to ask Lady Diana to become the next Indonesian first lady. With a hope, that Lady Diana’s team of British financial experts could help solve the Indonesian problem of corruption.

With her responses to the following two paintings, did she mean to give a signal that since Dody was a playboy, it would be just a matter of time before he would dump her like he did to the other women, and by then she would fulfill the painter’s idea to become the Indonesian first lady?

Anyhow, since later on she had the car accident, the painter should apologize to anybody affected by this rather unusual idea of solving corruption problem.

The Consequence.

If her response to the "Appetizer" was really meant as a signal about appetizering someone, it means that there should be the "main meal". Yet, because she had passed away with the appetizer, then the consequence is that the main meal should also pass away. So, the painter would take this consequence, by thinking that the main meal is the painter, in other words the painter might probably also have to leave this world soon, to save other's life.

Besides, paintings of the dead painter usually have better appreciation by the public, like what happened to Van Gogh. Would that also happen to the painter, all these Lady Di’s responses, and the other paintings, only time will tell.

Most of all, life is more meaningful when we give useful things, precious moments, to those in need of it. Even if it also means sacrificing my own self.

"REACHING GOLD FRUIT" is the title of the painting on the right. It was about the former Indonesian first lady helping her husband in picking the "fruit of development" of the country. A picture of Lady Diana was placed in this painting to represent significant role of foreigners in the development of Indonesia. Then on August 10, 1997 a picture of Lady Diana appeared in the mass media with Bosnian mountains looming in the background just like the mountains in this painting background.

Appetizer is a painting about a female lion that look like thinking about the bird for an appetizer. Then a picture of Lady Diana appeared in the media with the logo of Harrods above her head, whereas the name Harrods sounds like "parrot", somewhat similar to the lion with a kind of parrot bird above its head in this painting.
