In the middle of the making of the above painting, the "D", a reply from Lady Diana's office reached the painter, with the words "her love" inside it. Concurrence to the heart symbol on the frame behind her in the painting. Followed by her appearance in the media holding a flower similar to her hand in the painting. (above)

And now Lady Di's last resting place is on an island in the middle of a  lake at Althorp Park, across this Diana temple. (left)
