Bunny Houses  pt 2
This is my cat, Tinker (Baby Girl) showing her approval of the Bunny Houses.
The bottom cat is Onyx in a smaller box.
Here are the empty boxes (above) and after they've been filled (below).
Two new boxes being checked out.  One above baby would neither go in nor come out so nobody else could check it out.  On the right, baby checked it out then lay looking out the door.
Stuffing a filled box into a cage.  Tight fit at the door but it went in.
I've done some checking around and if you don't have these double boxes available, you can use single thickness boxes, especially if you can find two that are almost exactly the same size.  Just put one inside the other, seal them, then put opening in other end.  Even a box made with a single layer cardboard box filled with hay or straw is better than nothing when it comes down to it.  If our temps keep going down, I'll be experimenting with making some single layer boxes or trying to double some boxes.  I'll let you know how they work out.
