58 seconds into a home game and The visitors have Scored. First thought - What the hell happened? Second What sport are we playing and Third - Who are these guy? Taking them in reverse order might help, these guys are supposed to be a team the Western Conference Champions to be exact now bunch of kids playing bumbleball and back the first question with another one, Where's the passion?
Lost? let me clarify a bit now as the frustration takes back seat for the moment, Tonight was the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim's 4th game this season, The Senators at the pond, that lovely purple and green oval just northeast of Edison field on the other side of the 57- N In the Middle of Orange County. SO what it's just a forth game right not if your a ducks fan that say this lackluster movie based team get the WC seat for the Stanley cup finals and then lost in the last game to The Devils. Think this teams is probably kicking ass? think again going in to this game they were 0-3-0 with only two points in all. They had been shut out at their home opener after raising The western conference Banner! That was enough to make any fan reel, The ducks don't lose at home. Till now.
So three loses in as many games you think with a forward off the injured list this team would dominated. Nope Ottawa scores in less then A minute.
Simplest way to put it The fans are now disappointed and not just the newbies, This year the ducks have a better line up a Coach that is not a rookie and larger fan base but the fowl can't seem to fly. Some fans are worried, other's lost but all of us are wondering where the passion is where is the team that can fly together and not run in circles alone and out numbered? Where did all these individual players come from? Where is the talent? where is the Offense and Most of all Where are the Mighty Ducks?
