To Hope or not to Hope?

As I sit here through the last couple hours of 2003 a rather eventful year, I have hopes but being an optimistic Pessimistic that I am. I had no hope earlier today. The Ducks where playing the Carolina Hurricanes. Hurricanes a bad team with more points then us even coming off a win, The DUCKS WERE GOING TO LOSE even before the game started and Driving home during the 1st as McDonald scored. We will blow a one goal lead no problems. Oh YEAH THEY ARE SOUNDING LIKE A TEAM but we will lose focus in the third and will be beaten.
I am a true fan don't get me wrong but I haven't know a winning team and then after Prospel's comment in the from that radio interview. I love them but no playoffs if a player can't even decide if he wants to be on the damn team. But then I actually started listening to the game I was hearing as the other team scored once. Chistov seem to be a targeted but that wasn't the main focus but the way the sounded like a team, I couldn't see them play but it seem They have gotten there act together they seem to have played 60 minutes of Hockey not 20, they seem to be a team I've wanted to see since training camp.
However as much as I want to hope this team has decide to be just that do I hope do I decide I can love them and hope they win or love them and cheer and then be disgruntled after another stupid lead we have blown AGh I am not sure. I Know I love the boys but do they even thing they are a team yet?
