Fire: One of the four primary elements. It is composed of two parts, the Visible and Invisible, the Material and the Spiritual.

Fire is the beginning and the end. The first Humans, according to Occult tradition were formed out of Fire and when our time on Earth shall end as a species we will use the force of Fire to radiate our inner soul. This becomes the continuous cycle of HUman.

The Sun is associated with Fire. In Alchemy it is both Literal and Divine, known as The Divine Fire(Solar Rays/ Solar Sulphur).


Many insects are symbols of Fire. Fore example, the scarab and the scorpion. Some initiations are performed in the sign of scorpio. For many such as the Babylonians, scorpions were symbolic guardians of the gateway of the Sun(Divine/Crown).
In the Middle Ages, spiders and bats were symbols of Fire carriers and popular amongst the Middle Age with and magician.


And, of course there are the Salamanders. According to Medieval Mystics, without Salamanders as the spirit of fire we would not have fire. Salamanders live in the spiritual invisible fire element of nature. Salamanders can often be seen as orbs/balls of light in open fields or outside windows of homes. They are associated with the South and sometimes called the Djinn.
