Angels were created as a race of service providing soul types.  Per Arch Angel Michael, angels never set on fluffy white clouds playing harps and singing songs; each angels is created with a goal or task in mind.  Guardin angels, healing angels, teaching angels and warrior angels. All types of angels will answer questions if it falls within their scope of duties.
