Sunrise ideas Lady of Shallot transplanted to modern day Brisbane, the lady of Shallot is reincarnated, in modern day Brisbane, and she is crazy, or she would be if she were not in artistic expression, crazy in the way of Glenn Brady the schizophrenic artist or Kristen Hersh, the LoS finds that by recreating the scenes in her head the other worldness does not take her places, the scenes just stay in her head. so there is one stage in her childhood where she sees the pictures in the form of daydreams and night dreams, then she starts to recreate them, then she goes into the otherworld, meaning a really schizophrenic state where she forgets who she is and what it is all about, she gets some help, and takes up the recreation of the scenes, we see the pictures that she creates in all kinds of forms, photos, graphic design, a film, paintings, sculpture, short stories, when she makes enough of them, we the audience can see they are woven together into the story of the medieval Lady of Shallot, until one day she first sees the paintings by others of the LoS and then she hears the Song by Loreena McKennit, and reads the story and it all makes sense to her, all the pain of her life, and why she is the way that she is, and she is able to lift the curse and absolve herself, the Medieval Lady of Shallot is about a woman who lives in a castle on a island, and she has a magic mirror, the mirror shows her the pictures of the world which she weaves into a web, then one day she decides she has had enough, and she steps into the mirror so that she can go into the real world, real world bites back, mirror breaks, and she leaves the castle, but before the day has ended, she is dead. How she lifts the curse, don't know that bit yet *** *** *** or there is the Australian Book of the Dead which is set in Brisbane, and is about two young things and a older person, is a thriller, contains the Internet, and computer technology that doesn't exist yet, it is about three people with Biochips, a Biochip being little tiny computer implanted in their heads, and using the Biochip enables them to interact with the Matrix, a virtual space for all other Biochip users, they also interact with the larger Internet and the Web, these three things are separate entities. one character is a graphic designer and he uses the Matrix for his work designing sets, designing whole environments, not just a theatre or a tv set, any kind of set. the Matrix and the Biochip enable him to create the perfect set, and then recreate it on a normal computer with a monitor for someone else to look at the second character uses the Matrix and the Biochip for her PhD, doing complex visualisations of geological processes. the third character uses his Biochip because, well, he doesn't really know, but knows he doesn't want to do physics and maths in the conventional way for the rest of his life they meet each other, become friends, become good for each other, and then when the first one kills himself, he's the oldest and a bit neurotic, the other two can't survive without him, so they eventually all kill themselves because the shock of the Biochip and their lives in the Matrix is too much for them to integrate into their older reality
