ODE TO THE DREAM OF LIFE

the music goes in, it celebrates, our friend the day
music go in me
music go through me
music contain me

The day sings sweetly, oh sweet
and bitter together 
they stand on either side of night
of nowhere
separate doomed
forever to be apart
the lovers the everything trapped around the nothing 
but they sing
and they dance together,
they fly together,
they watch each other for they cannot be together

A long time ago,
bargain struck
darkness and light, good and evil,
searching out each other with the intensity of the hatred
they convolute and coagulate, the life
pure stream of beauty, tunnels, scrilling in 
floating together, they are flying together
they love and seek, they touch each other at dawn,
the man drawn to the woman,
woman to the other,

Night reaches down smoothly over him,
and by day he cries his grief out as rain,

Tis strange of late, 
how beautiful it is,
My lady, my goddess, she reaches
down and touches me, she is the night,
And he, the sun, melts me, fires me
destroys me,
the blood running into the earth,

But NO!!!
the dream is dead! all is lost
and we are betrayed,
evil about is sung in our sleep
it pervades our dreams from our deepest soul,
can you see it sliding
slippy slipping treacherously out,
And pulls, you down to the grave
it is death,

She comes up with the day
she borrows his power, to reach into her heart
where the will is,
and is the way,
she has it all inside herself
she knows and is her own teacher,
but she hides from herself the young and the old together
all things hiding separated in the caves thinking
that they will never have to come out?

Is she a song?
is she a flower?
is she the night?
she reaches in to herself and reaches out, spinning and spiralling
around she reaches for the moon
the top of the clouds, and flies away
the goddess of my smile and my Field of Dreams,
she flies and soars and is happy 
so happy~ she reaches out she knows 
she knows she flies she sees
she hears she understands she wants and loves
desires listens

Come IN!! my friend come IN!!
am i mad yet? can you see and feel in your very soul yet?
speaking out and sliding out
it is the water it is flying
about my ears and in my head.
Strange monsters about the streets at night,
crawling up and sliding about,

UP! music goes up and soars,
and my mind and soul go up too.
Is it affirmation Love Joy Distraction?

Do you love me? Do you need me? To keep out of my sad despair?
Slide over me and through me and into it all, and take it all,
up, and ip and in take me threre away from here
and into the dimension of me,
my love my oneness, my self,
my children the babies of my mind, my words, the mes that there are
everywhere and all over here and now

He dances and jumps, he laughs and is happy,
why are we here?
and whyfore do we do this?
The lady and the man, the eternals
the lovers that will never meet, greatest love that they have
for each other
reaching aout across the ends of night, they read and speak
and dance together
for there is the end in sight the end!

nine the void, calls and beckons,
thousands of billions of souls, 
searching out across the caverns of time,
sinks slowly down into your heart,
