Windows 98 can shutdown or reboot faster if you hold down Shift key before pressing OK at the shutdown dialog.

When you right click with the mouse in some instances in Windows, You get a menu offering you options to send a file to a particular folder, right? You can add more target list by just copying a shortcut icon to C:\Windows\SendTo. You can also add shortcut to another drive in your PC if you have more than one. This will make it easy for you to move files and folders between drives.

Want to know how to remove unwanted icon from your Windows taskbar? You can do so by going to the Start menu, clicking Run and then type "msconfig". Click on OK, then go to the Startup section and uncheck the unwanted.
