Darth Sidious
Sidious is the evil Master Sith who has started an alliance with the Neimodian Trade Federation to gain control of various parts of the galaxy. He attacked Naboo to cause trouble in the Senate.

Senator Palpatine
Palpatine, newly elected Supreme Chancellor of the Republic, is worried when the Queen says she is returning home. However she helped him by calling for a vote of no confidence in Valorum's leadership.

Maul is Sidious' evil and well trained Sith apprentice. He follows his masters order to find the Queen on Tatooine, and then attacks the Jedi on their return to Naboo. He kills Qui-Gon in the melting pit, and is then killed by Obi-Wan. He has built a double-bladed lightsaber and learned to use it with ease.
