Qui-Gon Jinn

He is one of the most noted Jedi Masters of his era. Other Masters even use him as an example to their own students. He is considered a rebel since he does go against the Jedi Council's wishes when he feels strongly that their decision is wrong and his actions are correct. There is a very stronge bond between Qui-Gon and his apprentice Obi-Wan, and they would do anything for each other. He is the choosen Master for dealing with Senate problems, and Chancellor Valorum's favorite Jedi. While in his 60's he is still a formidable presence, and an excellant teacher and warrior. Surely his loss was greatest felt by the other Jedi including the Council.
