Well, two years after I moved all my screen grabs to my Yahoo! Photo Album, Yahoo! Photos decided to shut down. I'm very happy to announce that all of the images will soon be available on a shiny new Photobucket account where I hope they will stay forevermore. The links to each episode's album can be found on the media page.
Also, Richard Yokley has brought to my attention that clips from L.A. Firefighters could be seen on a recent episode of NBC's Journeyman. Here's what he had to say...
"I had to rewind my DVR to make sure but last nights (10/29) episode of Journeyman used stock footage from LA Firefighters. A brief shot of the responding engine to a fire utilized stock footage from LAFF. I put it on pause while I checked one of the LAFF photos of the KME engine on your site. But the 132 on the front of the engine got my eye first. I was VERY surprised. They are both 20th Century FOX productions so they used what they had.
"check this clip out, the 'Keepers' episode. . It shows, about half way through Engine 132 and the ALF Truck 132 from LAFF. Not sure what LAFF episode it was taken from. The f/f walking by the engine towards Truck 132 has the number 85 on his helmet. http://www.nbc.com/Journeyman/video/#mea=175390"
Bizarre... The footage was taken, I believe, from episode 02: Till Death Do Us Part during the scene near then end with the rooftop jumper.

Sorry it's been so long, folks! After your bugging and prodding I have FINALLY added the screen grabs from episodes 6-13 to my Yahoo! Photo Album. Due to continuing space constrictions, it's the only way I could share with you the 1400+ images from the show through my site! And thanks to Yahoo!'s new EZ upload tool for the Mozilla Firefox browser, it was a relatively painless process, too! I have to admit, I lost track of the screen grabs for a while, as I've gone through several computers and hard drives since I first obtained all these images. Gosh, has it really been five years? Thanks for sticking with me through the ever elusive quest for hard disk space. Also, try to be forgiving when Geocities locks you out for a few hours for exceeding their bandwith. I'm striving to keep this site a free as possible and not have to shell out the bucks for the premium service.
Also added are two RealVideo clips of the opening credits for both the original and retooled versions of the show. You can check that out here.
A little recent recognition... Seems L.A. Firefighters got mentioned and this site referenced on Lee Goldberg's website. Thanks to Richard Yokley for bringing this to my attention.

For the past week I have been busy, busy, busy with The Great Site Move. My major task is images! That's right, the one thing this site was always lacking... pictures galore! thanks to the help of Matthias from Germany who managed to procure close to 100 screen grabs from each of the first thirteen (possibly the only thirteen) episodes. I moved over many, many pages and images. I added and sorted the screen grabs for all of the major characters on the images page and started uploading all of the other episode screen grabs to yahoo photos/briefcase for all to see.

In the middle of The Great Site Move, which began back in 2001. I need to move the site due to lack of space on the old account. Just a few of the pluses will be more pictures and a shorter site name. The site's new address will be http://www.geocities.com/lafirefighters.

Reviving work on a huge overhaul begun February 2001. I have tons of images to reorganize and add to the site. It's slow going because I'm working solo. All of the images on the Episode #11 pages should be fixed now.

I added some new crew credits to the "Cast & Crew" page and the "Episode Guide" thanks to Richard Yokley!! Be sure to check out his website dedicated to TV Firefighters. He even has some info on L.A. Firefighters / FIRE Co. 132 that I don't have. I also redesigned the "Cast and Crew" page a little. It has more of a "movie end credits" look to it now.

Happy Halloween!! I updated the images page mostly, fixed some broken links and added some new pictures. All 120 screen grabs from episode #11 are now up! Added a bit of description to the characters on the Bunker Room page. Updated the Cast & Crew list. I changed some outdated stuff in my guestbook settings, too.

I'll first mention the most obvious changes. I have a new title image!! Spiffy, huh? And of course you couldn't miss the L.A. Firefighters theme music I added to the main page. If it gets on your nerves, you can always shut it off down at the bottom. Added the "TV Firefighters" page to my links page. I also updated the images page with many new screen grabs, thanks to Matthias from Germany. Most of the major characters now have their own image page. Summaries for episodes 7 - 13 added thanks, again, to Matthias!!

After a year and nine months' hiatus I have a reason to update once again thanks to a very special fan in Germany. He just sent me 120 screengrabs from episode #11, "Deadly Cargo" as well as the titles from episodes #1 - #13 and there is more to come! I have said this before and I will say it again, the fans of L.A. Firefighters truly are the ones who keep this site going. Thank you so much, Matthias!! And thanks to everyone else who has supported this site over the years. What have I added so far? Well, I added Denmark to the "LAFF Watch" section. I added photos of Mike Durning, Laura Malloy, and Bernie Ramirez on the "Bunker Room" page. I updated the episode guide with the episode titles from Matthias. I added links to "The China Kantner Page", "The Elizabeth Mitchell Webpage" and deleted some bad links. You may have noticed if you emailed anything to me recently, aurorafire@hotmail.com no longer works. I can be reached at wakkanne @ hotmail . com (just remove the spaces). Lots more to come soon!

My first update of the new year. The page is almost two years old, wow! I have finally added the LACoFD site to the links page thanks to two a helpful emails. I also added Germany to the "LAFF Watch" section. I added the old "Mr. Showbiz" review to the review page. Added the character names for Alexandra Paul, Rob Youngblood, and Jensen Dagget. Silly me, I had these names for awhile and forgot to add them! Thank you fans for two wonderful years and following through two URL changes. You are the ones that keep this site going!

L.A. Firefighers, Station 132 got a new web address on this date. Of course if you are reading this then I guess the change didn't hurt the page traffic TOO much. It changed from http://www.geocities.com/TelevisionCity/2822/ to http://www.geocities.com/TelevisionCity/2822/LAFIRE due to the fact that I have more than just this site on this geocities account. The change also makes the address a bit more personalized.

I ammended the disclaimer on my main page to clarify a few things that may have confused visitors in the past pretaining to exactly where I stood as far as being a fan of the show and webmaster of this site. I also added two more "LAFF WATCH" countries and a link to a fairly new Christine Elise (Firefigher Erin Coffey) webpage.

The "What's New" Section is now its own page! "A Special Note to Critics of this Show" now has its own page as well. I added Geoguide to the top of my pages to get rid of the annoying geo-ad javascript popups. The index on the main page now is in a table for more organization. New fire related "return to Geocities" icons on each page.
