For God Sake we can also use the same excuse that when we complain about the pilots getting this n that the management ask us to become pilots. So in this case if other staff ask why laes are getting more,the management can always tell them to be laes. The management just do not seem interested to do just that.How come the management is not afraid of other staff in the company when they started to give productivity allowance to the pilots.For the pilots they have 03 salaries ie.1.Basic salary 2.Type salary 3.Hourly salary plus meal n nite-stop allowance. For the rest of us we get 01 basic salary n anything else is called an allowance.(imagine the diff during bonus time) cont. The main issue now the management is playing the same record all over again n again.Beleive me if the management is serious enough they can tell the other staff the reason is shortage of laes n worldwide shortage n it is a supply and demand issue which cannot be applied to every staff. In fact it is well known that the recent extra payments to pilots is precisely because of supply and demand of pilots. brgds/.
