Paganism is a word that defines most polythestic and panthestic earth-based religions. There are as many different traditions in Paganism as there are denominations in Christianity.
Pagans are a community of people who generally follow a pasifistic code of ethics and have a great respect for the Earth and see it as a Divine being. There is no written dogma for Pagans. Our only written word is contained in what we call a "Book of Shadows" that each Pagan writes themselves. Being that there is no set of religious "rules" for the Pagan community we are a very open and diverse group. We worship either seperatly as Solitaires or in groups called Covens. We accept, as a whole, a very large set of principals and beliefs and hold to the belief that all religious and spiritual paths are valad. Pagans come from every ethnic and economic background. Many Pagans these days have found their paths later in life being raised in the religion of their parents and converting after at least a year of studying. Pagans hold to a princpal of non-prostilazation. We do not seek converts to our religion but quitely wait for seekers to come to us with questions.
