OLD GLORY
I waved at an old friend today
'Cause she waved at me first.
She told me not to be afraid
When things seem at their worst.
She said she would protect me
Calling Freedom to her side.
Then ring for Liberty and Justice
'Cause she knows they'll never hide.
I looked around and thanked her
For the land she guarded dear.
And told her we would make her proud
To fly her colors here!
