Once, on the beautiful planet Arus there lived two princes, who were brothers, one peace-loving, the other warlike. Upon the death of their father the king the two princes fought bitterly for control of the planet. The Prince who loved peace and who placed the welfare of his people above all else was victorious. He was merciful; instead of slaying his brother he banished him and all his followers to distant planet Pollux and forbade him ever to return.
Years passed, and the banished prince kept his promise never to return. He built a kingdom on Pollux and his heirs ruled after him. Centuries passed, and both Arus and Pollux grew forgetful of their shared heritage...
