This Image Gallery is for your viewing and plundering pleasure. Why does this page exist? Well, you know how I adore espousing pointless causes! Basically, I had all these images lying around on my hard drive and I was thinking, "Poor Romelle; she has maybe ONE fan page on all the web, and most Sven-fans despise her." (Which I never understood.) So this is for her, and it's also for Sven. Hell, Keith and Allura have their shrine, Lotor and Allura have theirs, even Lance and Allura have theirs! (Allura's quite the little tramp, ain't she?) So here's the "shrine" to Sven and 'Melle, surely the hottest couple on the show. (Can there be any question? I mean, just speaking from the side of the fashion-conscious? Pink and red--yech! Pink and blue--all right! :-) ) Sorry if this is taking forever to open. It's pretty, I assure you!

As a Space Explorer journeying to to save war-torn planet Arus...
 
 
 
In his all too brief stint as pilot of the Blue Lion of Voltron...
 
 
To his fateful showdown with the witch Haggar...
The result of which was he got the stuffing beaten out of him and was taken captive by the enemy...!
 
Romelle...
 
The spirited princess of Planet Pollux, a world under the thumb of the megalomaniacal (I like that word!) King Zarkon...
Taken captive and used as a pawn in her planet's struggle and as a weapon against her friends...
SHE fights back against her captors (unlike certain other pink princesses)...
And for her insolence is cast aside by Prince Lotor and thrown into the Pit of Skulls, from which few escape with their lives... (Actually, I don't know about that. I made that last part up.)
  
Romelle and Sven...
In the Pit of Skulls Romelle is rescued from recapture by a man claiming to be wild.
But she sees through his bluff! He is Sven, and he has languished here for years, consumed with the guilt of failing his friends and himself. (Here's an intriguing question: how did Romelle KNOW who she was dealing with? They had never met, yet she recognized him almost straight off. Want my theory? Well, you're going to get it. The planets Pollux and Arus had been antagonists for centuries. Quite likely, Pollux had spies positioned on Arus and vice versa. Doubtless once these spies got wind the Voltron Force was on the premises they sent word back to Pollux with detailed dossiers of our heroes. As daughter to the King of Pollux, Romelle probably saw the reports and was allowed to study them...at length.)
 
Getting back to the story... Romelle convinces a most reluctant Sven to aid her in escaping Planet Doom. In turn, she helps restore to him his sense of purpose and worth and he elects to remain with her on Pollux...
Where they plan to strike back against Zarkon, Lotor, and Haggar, and become aware of their growing feelings for one another...
 
Which leads them to the (semi) final showdown on Planet Doom. After the Voltron Force defeats King Zarkon and his robot minions, Sven goes alone after his enemy and Romelle's, Prince Lotor...
Well, I don't feel like recapping all that ensues in entirety. (If you don't know...read TASCAB. See? This is just a sneaky plug for my novel!) Well, it's a very exciting confrontation which ends with Sven taken captive again, the (brief) handing over of Voltron to Lotor, the heroism of the Space Mice (go figure) and a terrifying plummet by our hero and our villain from the top of an exploding tower into the moat below...
 
Which is just the beginning of everything...
