| Thundercats Weapons |
| The Sword of Omens The Sword of Omens is currently wielded by Liono, and can only be used for good. Embedded in the hilt of the sword is the Eye of Thundera, which is the source of the Thundercats' power. The sword once belonged to Jaga, Lion-O's father and when he died, it passed down to Lion-O. The Sword of Omens has many uses. When Lion-O wants to see something far away, he uses the sword and says "Sword of Omens give me sight beyond sight". Lion-O can also have the sword extended so he can zap energy blasts. It has shield abilities. Finally, the Sword of Omens sends out a signal (like a bat signal) to the other Thundercats to warn them that Lion-O needs help or it's Lion-O's way of gathering the Thundercats to him. When the sword is extended it is the only way Lion-O can reach his friends or use the sword's power. When the sword is not in use, it's on it's resting place as you can see above in the third picture. If the sword is destroyed by a fellow Thundercat, the sword is gone unless it gets welded together by a volcano. |
| The Claw Shield The Claw Shield is Lion-O's secondary weapon. It's primary ability is that it can shoot a claw line (like a grappling hook). It also has an extendable chain. It helps Lion-O climb, and can be used to block attacks, much like a shield. It also is a like a sheath for the his sword. |
| Bolo Whip This is Tygra's weapon. When not in use, it is contracted into the handle. It can be used to fire energy blasts, fire balls, turn him in visible, or whip things (of course). Mainly, Tygra uses it to turn himself invisible. He can turn more than one person invisible, but it is not advisable. The Whip also has a communicator in it so he can contact the other Thundercats. The picture on the left shows him using is whip. |
| Clawed Nunchucks These are Panthro's weapons. They can be used for much more than bopping people with. They can shoot all sorts of things, like little ball bearings, gases, explosive stuff, etc. Panthro created a communicator in all the cats weapons and even his own. |
| Bo-Staff This is Cheetara's weapon. When not in use, it is contracted into a very small cylinder. It can extend to a quarter staff type size, or longer. It can shoot energy blasts. Cheetara has, on occasion, split the staff into multiple staffs. Like Tyra's whip, Cheetar's staff also has a communicator to contact her fellow team mates. In the picture on the left, Cheetara is using the staff. |
| Capsules This little capsules, or pellets, are the main source of firepower for the Thunderkittens. They can do all sorts of things. They tend to be filled with gases of sorts, like laughing gas or general smoke. Also, they could be filled with sneezing powder or inflatable monsters. The can even be filled with little puddles of water that explode into geysers. |
| Pumyra's Sling When danger is not around, it makes a handy belt. However, if something does threatens, this belt becomes a sling, which Pumyra uses to shoot bomb spheres. This belt/sling thing can also be used as a grappling rope. It wraps around a branch or something, and is capable of growing in length when used in this manner. |
| Lariat When the Thunderkittens aren't using their capsules, they're lassoing the baddies with their lariats. |
| Bengali's Hammer Well, it does of course have the practical uses of an everyday hammer. Do not be fooled. It is also very powerful. Among other things, it can be used as a thrown weapon or can shoot energy at an enemy. |
| Lynxo's Light Disc Lynxo's weapon is a light disc, which he wears at his wrist. When not in use, it remains in a compact form. Whenever Lynxo needs it, all he has to do is unfold it. He then uses it to shoot/reflect light at his foes. |
