Rating (Out of 10)

4.5- Joe's Famous Wings and Weiners- 56 W. Main St., Leola, PA. (717) 556-0676.
Well, one of the things I don't like about this place is that you can only order one sauce unless you get more then 50. This means no variety when you order! Its average at best, except for their chicken sandwhich. Nothing like chicken, hot sauce, and blue cheese between two slices of bread.

5.5-
Wild Wings- 401 N. Reading Rd., Ephrata, PA. (717) 733-3355.
This is another spot where you can only order one flavor and they have so many you can choose. Wild Wings also has no place to sit down and eat, but their $3.00 pizzas make up for that. If you ever live near Ephrata and like to eat at home, give this place a shot.

4.5- Rocky's Pizza and Sub Express- 455 S. Leight Ave. (Route 61), Frackville, PA. (570) 874-1330.
Well, the eating area is big and they do have many different types of wings, including Jack Daniel's hot, creamy hot and butter garlic, but are way too expensive! However, last time I was there they do come in a neat plastice container.

5.0-
Parkside Hotel- 3 E. Derry Rd., Hershey, PA. (717) 534-1774.
Although they have a mean Xtra-Suicide here, thats about it. For one thing, I am getting a little sick of Ken's honey mustard sauce. In addition, while the hot & medium go for $5.50, the other 4 or 5 flavors will cost you an additional $.50.  If your going to a concert or the park though, give this place a shot. It's within walking distance of the park and prolly a little cheaper then inside the gate.

6.3-
Wings Over Happy Valley- 536 Westery Parkway, State College, PA. (814) 237- 5700.
Well, no place to sit down, but they do deliver free of charge to PSU. They have 20 flavors including 5 flavors of bbq and 5 flavors of hot ranging from wimpy to afterburner. I only tryed the middle hot, the red alert, but they were pretty good. Just enough hot to taste good, but not enough to bring the tears. There was a few dissapointments though. The bbq were good, but the honey mustard tasted like, or is, Kens. All three flavors were also put in the same container and the prices were a lil expensive.           7- $4.95; 15- $9.95; 60- $33.95; 120- $59.95. The wings were big and the place was basically on campus, so I guess that explains a little.

5.0-
The Wayside Inn- Rt. 61, Weigh Scales, PA. (570) 644-2012.

Although the Wayside might be the most propular bar near Shamokin, it sure isn't because of its wings. The Wayside only has about 5 different flavors, and the prices are $5.95 for a dz. and $10.95 for 2 dz. The hot are good and the Teraki are ok, but the BBQ are just nasty. They do have a wing night, but I didn't even care to look into it. On a side, the Wayside is a nice bar and does have some other good foods.

4.0-
The Wing Co.- 4614 East Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA. (717) 761-2175.

This place does have some unique flavors, such as Sesame, General Tso's, and Garlic Herb, but they just arent very good. The Genral Tso's were kinda nasty and the hot were just hot. The price is also pretty wack: $5.45 for 10, 12 for $7.95, and 50 for $23.95.  And this is what gets this place a low score, you are allowed only two sauces, even for an order of 100! I don't think I will stop at this place again, at least for awhile.

Well, now I'll give you the winners of the 2001 Wing Tour. Some of the places listed above were not on the tour, so they weren't judged, and others that were may no longer be on my page. However, some of the winners listed below still rule the wing world. Btw, if you have any hot spots for wings, give me an email.
