Guidelines

Introduction:

LofC believes having dedicated, respectful, and mature members will create a fair and appropriate online community that fosters enjoyment for all guildmembers. The guidelines of LofC, therefore, exist in order to heighten the gaming experience in the World of WarCraft for both members and non-members.

The Guidelines:

  1. World of WarCraft is our official game: all members are required to have the game in order to maintain membership with LofC.

  2. The members of LofC may not participate in any other World of WarCraft guild.

  3. The official race for the Lords of Chaos is Human. To participate in LofC as a member or an applicant, your primary character must be Human. This may change as LofC grows after the release of WoW.

  4. Individuals must demonstrate that they are active as members and applicants. Well-rounded and frequent participation in guild chats, forum posting, and gaming in the World of WarCraft must occur. If a member or applicant must be absent for a significant amount of time, due to life circumstances, the absense must be reported. Those responsible for operating LofC have the right to remove members and applicants for being inactive.

  5. All members and applicants must maintain realism in a role playing environment whenever possible. Those responsible for operating LofC will maintain the values for role playing and administer consequences for members and applicants intentionally diminishing the role playing atmosphere.

  6. Members and applicants are expected to use common sense at all times. If you think you shouldn't be doing it, you probably shouldn't be.

  7. Guild leaders reserve the right to enforce or change any of these guidelines at any time.
