Lambertville High School

In Lambertville, NJ there is an old abandoned high school. It was built in 1854, and I think it closed in the 70's. There was supposedly a fire, which started in the electronics room. Rumors say that students died in the fire, and this is why it is haunted. September 22, 2001 my friends (Alan, Eric, Jim, and Jess) and I ventured to the school.

What you are supposed to hear/see: Outside- If you walk up the main stairway, out side of the school, you are supposed to hear children laughing, giggling, and whispering amongst themselves.

Inside- In the electronics room, there is supposed to be a chalkboard located in the room with words on it. If you erase the words, leave the room, and come back in the same room a little later, words of “help” will be written all over the chalkboard. You are also supposed to see a sketched face of one of the victims somewhere on the chalkboard. Supposedly, the face is not made by pen, chalk, or by a human, and you are not able to erase it.

I say supposedly a lot in this writing because when I went to the school, we did not see a chalkboard in the electronics room, unless we had the wrong room.

If you do go here, beware of the police. The citizens in the town do not like visitors to the school. Therefore, by making a lot of noise while walking up to the school, they will call the police on you. You only get a warning of not to go back to the school.

Also, don’t park at or by the school, park a couple blocks away and walk to it.

Here are some of the pictures I took while inside the school. The pictures of the outside of the school turned out pretty dark.

This is a picture of the front of the school.

This is the first thing you see as you walk in the front door of the school. You can go either down a couple stairs, to the first floor or up a couple stairs, to the second floor. We went down first.

Click on the Picture to see more of the 1st Floor.

It's kinda of weird if you stand and look up the stairs.

You can see these steps, that lead up to the school, from the gravel road leading to the school.
