Joe's Apartment
Story by Kupidd

*~* Chapter 5: New Beginning *~*

"Man, how are you gonna fix all these things into that tiny little apartment?" Natalie joked as she and Keri carried a huge box up the stairs and set it on the floor in front of Josephine's new apartment.
"Shut up! You know it's all I can afford right now. I need all my money to pay for school until I graduate and get a good job. I just need a cheap little place to rest my head for now."
"Oh please! 900 dollars ain't hardly cheap!" Keri commented.

While the girls where laughing, a guy walked out into the hall from the apartment across from Josephine's.

"Do you ladies need any help?" he asked
"Sure! We need all the help we can get!" Josephine said.
"Oh my! He is cute!" Natalie mouthed to Josephine as he picked up a box and walked into the apartment.
"Nice butt!" Keri whispered

Josephine couldn't help but laugh at her friend's comments. But she had to admit; he wasn't all that bad looking. He was tall, with brown hair and eyes. He had a nice set of 4-pac abs, which could be seen through his white wifebeater, and a nice clean-cut goatee.

"Well Joe, we gotta go." Natalie said. "We'd love to stay but I'm sure, um, what's your name again?" she asked the guy.
"AJ" he replied.
"Right! I'm sure AJ wouldn't mind helping you finish." She snickered.
"Ok bye guys." Josephine replied  "I'm gonna get you for this." She whispered to Natalie as she gave her a hug.
"Thank me at the wedding." Natalie whispered back adding a small giggle. "Bye Bye AJ."

AJ laughed. "Bye."
"Well how about we get these boxes inside." He said
"I think we should, I don't want anyone stealing my stuff." Josephine joked.
"By the way, you never told me you're name."
"Josephine." She replied. "My friend's call me Joey, or Joe."

AJ and Josephine got all the boxes inside and her helped her unpack a little. When they where done, they both let themselves fall onto Josephine's couch. AJ arm brushed against Josephine's and she felt a little bolt of electricity. She didn't know what it was, but his touch felt so good. It was as if she was longing for his touch for years, and just now got her first
taste.

*~*~*~*~*

"Are you sure this was good idea?" One of the angels from the Heavenly Council asked the Head Angel.
"Of course!" he replied. "They wanted to be together, and now they are. Just because they don't have any recollection of what happened for that doesn't mean a thing."
"But what did you do?" the angel asked.
"I simply turned back time. It's the February 28th, 2001. A week before
AJ's mother sealed him up in the wall. And Josephine is moving into the same apartment which is ghost free because AJ's alive."
"Oh! I get it now! Very clever!
"I know."

*~*~*~*~*

AJ picks up the phone and dials his mother's phone number.

"Hi mom, I just called to see how you're doing." AJ said.
"We'll I'll be doing a lot better when I know that Adeana girl is out of your life."
"We'll then I guess you're doing a lot better mother, because we're not going to get married."
"Really!" Denise replied with enthusiasm. "Awh Honey, why not?" she giggled.
"Well, I caught her in bed with JC Chasez from Nsync." He replied meekly.
"Um, AJ doing you think we need to get going, you know traffic is a killer around this time!" Josephine called.
"Who was that?" Denise asked.
"That's Josephine, my new girlfriend." AJ replied. "I think you'll like her."
"Oh really, when will I get to meet her?"
"Tonight!" AJ replied. "We wanted to surprise you."
"Ok, well I'll see you later then sweetheart!"
"Bye Mom!" AJ said before he hung up the phone.
"Are you ready yet lazy?" Josephine asked putting on her sweater.
"Yeah, let's go."

AJ picked up a bag with a gift he and Josephine had gotten for his mom. He wrapped his arm around Josephine's shoulder. He just loved how his arm felt against her. Josephine rested her head against AJ's shoulder as they walked down the street to his car. She just loved being with him all together. It was as if he was a gift from Heaven.
