Thoughtless Words
Story by Courtney C. and Jessica B.
~~*Chapter Two- Part One*~~
10 a.m. the next morning
“Rise and shine everybody,” Kevin
yelled, walking into the bunk area. He was the only one up. “And welcome
to Louisiana!” We had arrived in New Orleans sometime during the night. I had
never been there before so I was
reading to check out the shopping scene.
“Good morning sweetheart,” Nick
said pulling me close to him for a quick kiss. I quickly kissed him then hopped
out of bed.
“Hey, what’s the rush? Our show’s
not ‘till 7:30.” He protested.
“Nicky, honey. New Orleans. Me. Jess.
Huge malls. Outlet stores. Credit card. Think!!!” I told him with
a smile, running over to the bunk AJ and Jess shared. “C’mon Jess. The bus
is stopped. Let’s get a move
on!” I hollered as AJ pulled the curtain back. No Jess.
“I’m ahead of you girl!” I heard
a voice say. I turned around to see a fully clothed Jessica holding a mug
of coffee. “Hurry up and get dressed.
We’ve gotta be back by 5 though, because I’ve gotta run through some
steps with Kirstie.” Kirstie was the choreographer for the Boys tour and
Jessica had been dancing backup for
the Boys. Since we had joined the tour late Jess had to learn all the routines.
But tonight would be the 6th show
she did. She was a quick learner. 20 minutes later we were in a cab headed for
New Orleans biggest mall.
~~ This would really look good on you
Jess,” I said holding up a yellow halter top with a short black leather
skirt, “and I’m sure AJ would love it!”
“Yea, that would definitely get
something out of him, if ya know what I mean,” She looked at me, raised
her eyebrows and smiled.
“You dirty minded whore!” I yelled
at her, quickly hanging the clothes back on the rack.
“Me? I’m not the one who just spent 300 dollars on sexy underwear in Victoria’s Secret that I’m sure Nick will love!”
“Very low....” I said as I walked
by her and over to some cute dresses. This was how we always talked to
each other. We fought like sisters, but not really anything major. It was a kind
of love-hate thing. We ended up
with a pretty large trunk load of bags by the time we returned to the hotel.
Like always, our carry in bags had
been taken to the hotel. It was almost five and Jess hurried to change. She was
supposed to meet Kirstie at the arena to
rehearse.
“Where have you been all day?” Nick
questioned, as I walked in carrying a few packages. The bush-boy
followed, loaded down. “Never mind,” Nick replied seeing all the stuff.
“I got you a little something,” I
told him sitting down on his lap and pointing to the Victoria’s Secret bag.
“Oh really...” He pulled me down to
him and kissed me gently.
“I love you Nick...” I murmured against his lips as he drew me closer.
