~~*Chapter One*~~
Kevin took a third slice of cheese pizza. Back on his chair, he looked
carefully at Brian, sitting in front of him. For the last ten minutes, his
cousin has been staring at nothing, biting his thumbnail, lost in another world.
Painful world, thought sadly Kev. A world where everything was black and
tasteless, a world that wasn’t worth living in.
This
world of despair was born on Christmas day, only three months ago, already three
months ago. By Lucy’s fault. Lucy, Bri’s loving girlfriend. Lucy, the true
beautiful woman he planned to marry in the summer. My
ass ! Lucy the bitch ! She went with him to Kentucky, to
attend the party in the Littrell’s house. It was so much fun for everyone !
Until midnight. B-Rok was looking for her to come open the presents and he found
her in his room, with one of his cousin’s boyfriend. Making love on his own
bed. What a nice Christmas gift…
Brian
slowly shook his head and Kevin turned his eyes in another direction. He
didn’t want his little cousin to know how much he was worried about him.
B-Rok
put down his intact pizza slice on his plate.

Not hungry, Frick ? asked Nick
from his place on the floor.

Not really today, replied his
friend with a slight smile.

What’s wrong ? Anything
bothering you ?

No, everything’s ok. It’s
just… I’m afraid when I think about the show. It’s the first one from the
Black & Blue Tour, I hope the fans love it…

Yeah, nodded Nick. I know what
you mean. We’re anxious, too.
He’s
such a good liar, thought
Kevin. I almost believe what he said.
Almost,
not really. Kevin knew he was hurting deep inside. But how could he help someone
that was hiding everything from his friends ? He tried his best to be there for
Brian. The only problem was that Brian tried his best to avoid taking his hand.
He has been staying alone with his pain since the evening Lucy fooled him, and
nobody knew it besides his mom and Kevin. Why didn’t he want them to bring him
some help?
