| Justin strolled into the lunchroom and sat at his table, leaned his seat back and snapped his gum loudly. "Yo I got your lunch today." lance said sliding his tray in front of him. "What the fuck is that!" Justin laughed letting his seat fall back on all four legs. He stared down at the food. "It's a burger." Lance replied shamefully "You sure?" Justin asked prodding at the meat. "look if you don't want it." lance said angrily "No it's fine." justin laughed picking up the burger. "Don't eat that shit!" Chris yelled sliding a new tray across the table. It was a coldcut sandwich. "Take that." Chris smiled sitting down with his tray. "You know." Lance grumbled "Sorry Lance." Justin said patting his shoulder. "We don't want our QB to die of food poisoning." Josh said sitting next to Justin. Justin bit into his sandwish and pretty much ignored their conversation. "Hey so yo Betty Havel told me last night that she would you know." Joey smiled "no she wouldn't" Chris choked "She said so." Joey smiled confidentally "She's teasing you." Josh said throwing down his fork. "Whatever, I think she would." Joey said angrily "I don't this so." Josh said throwing his tray into the garbage Justin looked up from his sandwich and watched as Emily weaved through the tables. She peered around at the other students timidly. Finally she sat down next to a few kids that were not of the popular status. Justin let his sandwish fall from his hand and splatter on the table. "Justin! What the fuck!" Josh cried looking down at his shirt. Lettuce and mayonnaise had splattered onto him. "Sorry man." justin said looking at him. Chris burst out hysterically. "how the hell did that happen?" joey asked "I dunno it fell." Justin sighed scoo[ing up the remains and dumping it on the tray. "i'll get that." lance said reaching for the tray. "Nah I got it." Justin said grabbing it and sliding out off the bench. He made his way toward a garbage can and passed it. he walked up to the garbage can next to Emily's table. he dumped it in and smiled at her. She looked down at the table shyly and looked back up to see him still smiling. She smiled shyly. "Justin!" Viki yelled out walking over. He looked over at Viki and smiled "Hey Viki." he sighed "Oh don't sound happy to see me." She huffed "What's up?" he asked rolling his eyes. "here's your invitation you ungrateful boy." Viki said angrily shoving an envelope at him. "Viki stop pretending! Thanks for the invite!" he said waving it at her. She turned around and smiled at him. he shook his head and walked away. He looked back at the seat Emily had occupied but she had gotten up disposed her garbage and headed out of the cafeteria. |
