Justin rolled out of bed and made his way to school again. Emily appeared at his locker next to him.
"Hey." she said cheerfully.
"Hey." he said sleepily
"Did you sleep last night?" She asked
"yeah just tired that's all." He said leaning into his locker and starting to snooze off.
"Justin!" She cried pulling his head out of teh locker.
"Huh wha?" He said looking around.
"You're falling asleep in your locker." She said
"Oh that, that's nothing." he said leaning back into the locker. She grabbed the back of his bookbag and pulled him out slammed his locker shut and shoved him to their next class. Justin dropped down into a seat behind Emily and leaned his head onto the desk. He folded his arms around his head and fell asleep.
"Now Mr. Timberlake would you kindly tell us what the hypotheneus of the trianlge is?" peters asked
Justin shot up and looked around the class. Emily turned to him and whispered 6.
"Six." he mumbled
"That is correct Miss Park but I asked Mr. Timberlake the answer." Peters said snottily. Emily blushed and hid her face in her hands. Peters turned back to the blackboard and continued his class.
"Thanks." Justin said leaning forward.
"Welcome. Try to get more sleep tonight." She whispered
The bell rang and Justin got up to walk out but Peters stopped him.
"Justin I expect you to be well rested tomorrow. Today I let you slip but not even the star QB can get off all the time. If you sleep through tomorrow's class I'll send you to the nurse for a drug test." Peters said
"yeah whatever." Justin said running his hand through his curls.
Lunch rolled around and Justin pulled up at a table by himself. He wasn't hungry he was just tired. He layed his head across his arms. Emily pulled up a chair and carressed his cheek with her hand. She lightly kissed his cheek before starting to eat her lunch.
"Hey Emily!" Viki said walking over.
"Shhh Justin is sleeping." Emily said turning to her.
"oh sorry." Viki whispered
"What's up?" emily asked
"Well me and the girls were wondering if you'd attend a sleepover this weekend. It will be a great way for us to get to know another." She smiled
"Sounds good." Emily smiled
"Well I'll pick you up at your house on Friday after school." viki said turning to walk away. She grinned happily to herself. Step one was accomplished now onto step two.
Emily turned back to Justin who was sleeping peacefully.
"Justin babe?" She whispered.
He groaned.
"Are you gonna eat anything?" She asked
"I'm not hungry." He groaned
"Come on Justin. You have practice after school you can't run on empty." She said pulling out the other half to her pb&j sandwich.
"Open>" She said and he opened his mouth. She pushed in a small peice and he chewed on it.
"What is this?" he asked not opening his eyes
"Peanut butter and jelly." She smiled
"Never had it before."
"Are you serious. Here." She said letting him bite into the sandwich.
"It's actually good." He smiled sitting up. He finished off the sandwich. She leaned over and rustled his curls.
"Better?" She smiled
"Much, thank you baby." He smiled leaning over and kissing her.
"I can't let you pass out playing football and get crushed by oversized barbarians." She laughed
he chuckled heartily.
"Please get some sleep tonight." She said kissing his cheek and standing up.
"Where are you going?" he asked looking up at her.
"The bell." She smiled as it went off. He picked up his bag and walked her to class.
Practice went like usual. This saturday would be an important game for the playoffs. if they lost they were out of the tourney.
"Are you coming to the game?" Justin asked walking beside Emily
"Of course." She smiled
"Good, I really want you to go."
"I will be there." She smiled reassuringly
"Alright. I'll see you then." he smiled kissing her cheek and walking off toward his house.
Viki and Josh watched from her car across the street as Emily walked up the stairs and into her house.
"Think she suspects anything?" Viki asked
"She better not." He said nastily
"Nah she doesn't at all." She laughed
"So you're gonna get her to sleep over."
"Yeah."
"Then what?"
"Well let's just say I'm going to bring the wild side out of her. Justin won't want her after I'm done." Viki smiled
"If you weren't so into Justin, you and me could work out."
"yeah but I'm not into you." She said starting the car.
"Too bad. You're missing out." he laughed
"Sure I am." She laughed
"So are you coming to the game on saturday?" he asked
"Yeah."
"Emily will probably be there." Josh said rolling his eyes.
"No. I've got plans for her." Viki smiled
"Nice get her to miss his first game. That'll put a dent in things."
"I know. I'm a genius." She cackled as they drove off.
