Justin stared down at the empty plate. He couldn't pull his thoughts of that girl. Who was she?
"Yo man back to earth anyway like I was saying, dude are you even listening?" Jc asked looking annoyed
"Yeah sorry."
"Whats wrong?"
"Man I dunno."
"Is it Brit?"
"Sorta and then no. Its this girl."
"You have another girl already?"
"no man listen to me okay? I saw this girl last night with Lonnie, walking on the side of the road. She was amazing."
"Dude get your head off of girls."
"I cant she hypnotized me and I dont even know her name." Justin said glumly
"Well forget her the odds are of you seein her again are a million to one."
"Yeah I guess."
"Anyway like I was saying, the tour is going great so maybe we should take a break and take a road trip just the guys and of course Lonnie and Dre."
"Sounds good."
"Good I already told the guys and they said ys."
"Cool."
Justin returned to look down at his plate. He looked up and out the window. He saw someone walking past the IHOP in a red hood.
"Thats her!' He said getting up and running out of the place. He ran up behind her and tapped her. The person turned and it was an elderly woman. JC who had run out after him stopped and began to laugh
"Is that your dream girl." He said walking beside Justin who had turned away from her.
"Shut up man, no it wasn't." Jay said angrily
It had to b e her. For his sake, next time it would be. I'll find her, he thought. The guys laughed at Justin for a while. He had become agitated and left for the bus. He sat in the back and jus6t thought about things.
"Where are we?" Jay said to Dre
"Tenesse Jay your homesate? Where have you been?"
"Out of my mind." Jay said walking off the bus. He walked up to Lonnie.
"Lon man what road were we on last night when I said I saw a girl."
"Dude are crazy there was no girl."
"I know but the road was."
"Old Country Mill Lane. Right off of Pickiny highway."
"Thanks." Justin said running back on the bus.
I have to find her he thought.
"Jay forget it that road runs for three miles, you wont find her even if she exists. Wihch in fact Im not sure of." Lonnie said scratching his head.
"Lonnie she was real."
"Forget it I give up, your a headcase like chris."
"Did I hear my name." Chris said walking in.
Lonnie began to laugh.
"What's going on?"
"Nothing." Justin mumbld
Jay climbed into his bunk and stared at a map of Tenesse. He had lined the road in red. Soon he driftd into a dream.
He was walking along the road and a mist fogged his view but he continued to walk. Finally he saw the red hood come toward him. He sawher face come out of t6he mist. She pulled the hood off of her head. Justin stopped and looked at her. She held her hand out for him. He reached for it, it was in slow motion. He could hear her breathing. She was real. He felt her fingertips touch his. He exhaled deeply. Then at a sudden he heard a car screaching. She dissapeared into the mist.
"Noo!!" He called out to her. He began to run to where she had gone. Bright lights were flashing. They were red. Then he saw her on the floor. His heart stopped.
Justin jumped up from the bunk terrified out of his mind.
"She's gonna die!" He yelled out
"What man I'm trying to sleeep." Chris wined
"I have to find her." he said shakily
"Who dude?"
"The girl on the road wearing red, she's in danger."
"No she isn't but you are."
"Get off me Chris." Justin yelled as he threw chris's arms away.
"dude just chill you had a dream its not a preminition." Josh said
"I thought you were sleeping."
"I was until you screamed "she's gonna die"."
"sorry, I guess I overreacted."
"Ya you did now can I sleep." Jay said
"Ya sorry again."
Justin rolled over and pulled the covers tighter around him. He closed his eyes and fell asleep. He woke up the next morning groggy. He felt his head andit was warm. He plowed his way up to the front of the bus.
"jay you don't look so good." Lance said looking up from the small table.
"I don't feel bad."
"Liar."
"well I can't get sick we aren't done touring, besides its all in the mind."
"yeah yeah."
Touring came to a hault. Justin was still feeling the symptoms he had before. he'd get random bloody noses, headaches, fevers snd dizzy spells.
Justin was walking in the bus for thier road trip when he felt his legs go weak. He fell to the bunks and caught himself by the bunk bed edge.
"dude you alright?" Joey asked becuase he witnessed the whole thing.
"I', fine."
Justin wobbled to the back and threw himself on the couch.
"Guys this is a road trip now lets have fun!" screamed Jc as he ran up and down the bus. Lonnie stepped on the gas and they drove off.
The had been driving for a week by now and Justin became a lil worse everyday, it was more in his legs now. No one noticed because he hid it well by stopping and sitting whenever he felt his pains. Maybe it was from all that dancing all he needed was a rest he assured himself.
