On August 31, 2000, between the hours of 6 and 7 PM, at the Taco Bell restaurant on Highway 41 in Bradenton, Florida, the Pepsico Corporation went Too Far. Respactable students Debra Herrick, Jessica Willis, and Ian Vandewalker went into the establishment to purchase foodstuffs: tacos, and the like. The order was made: one Santa Fe Gordita with beans instead of meat, three Soft Taco Supremes with beans instead of meat, and two Hard Taco Supremes with beans instead of meat. Two cups for water were also requested. The water cups were served right away. The order was paid for with five dollars and ninety-eight cents in valid United States currency (small faces), and the reciept--Order Number 236--was obtained. Then came the kick in the face to the young patrons. They were made to wait for their food for minutes and minutes, regardless of the fact thatt members of the group were very, very hungry and had already had to wait while other members of the group got Publix Subs. The waiting went on and on. Even when the poor young people thought there was no way the food could not be ready yet, it was still not ready. The suffering of these respactable citizens was immense.
When the food was finally served, the three Soft Tacos, instead of being Supreme, as was ordered and paid for, were in fact very unsupreme--conspicuously lacking in both sour cream and tomatoes.
The most politically active member of the group, Ian Vandewalker, in response to these events, has made a pledge to himself and human beings everywhere that he will not rest until that Taco Bell restaurant is destroyed. That restaurant has irritated its last patron. Soon it will be forced out of business, the building will be destroyed, and all the employees made to suffer horribly--all at the hands of Ian Vandewalker. Taco Bell will rue the day that it did not give this Lake Shipp boy his food promptly.
