For my third and final web assignment I chose to do a sacramental. I knew I wanted to put A.M.D.G. which means dedicated to the greater glory of God, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to write it on. Searching the house late into the night, I was worried I wouldn’t finish my sacramental. I thought about a rock, a stick, and a sock, but I would most likely lose the rock, my mom would throw away the stick, and the ink would wash of the sock before I could ever use it. So I thought about what I loved doing the most, for me that is basketball. I thought to myself, what can I write on, that has to do with basketball that I will use in a game, and at practice? Finally, I came up with a water bottle! I would write A.M.D.G. on my water bottle. Whenever I play basketball, even if I am not using the water bottle, I will think about dedicating all my actions to the greater glory of God. When I am arguing with a referee or fighting with an opponent I will think about God, and what He would do in that same situation. With this small sacramental I will become a better basketball player, get more playing time by not arguing with the refs, and stay in all my games by not getting thrown out for fighting. Also, I will thank God for my talents to be able to play basketball.
