I PAID 200 DOLLARS FOR THIS BAD BAY, ITS NOT THE STRONGEST BEST AXLE IN THE WORLD BUT ITS MY CHOICE FOR NOW.. ITS CHEAP TO BUILD AND PLENTY WIDE!!
WHEN I FIRST GOT IT, IT HAD BEEN LAYING OUT IN THE GUYS YARD FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG, I TORE IT DOWN AND STARTED REBUILDING IT THE NIGHT I BROUGHT IT HOME..

I COULDNT HANDLE LOOKING AT THAT RUSTY OLD HOUSING SO I GOT AHEAD OF MYSELF AND PAINTED IT UP BEFORE I SHOULD HAVE..
HERES A SHOT OF THE SHOCK MOUNTS AND SPRING PERCHES CUT OFF.  I HAD TO MOVE THE PERCHES IN SEVERAL INCHES TO MATCH THE TOY SPRING TRACK AND I ELIMINATED THE SHOCK MOUNTS ALL TOGETHER.  YOU WILL SEE LATER THE MOUNTS I BUILT ON TOP..  I ALSO ROTATED THE PINION UP A BIT FOR BETTER CLEARANCE AND DRIVELING ANGLE..

MOUNT UP BOYS!!  LOOKS A BIT MORE BRUTE AND HELLA MORE WIDE THAN MY OLD TOY AXLE..
I CHOSE 4.56 GEARS AND LOCKRIGHT BECAUSE I HAD ALREADY PURCHASED THAT SAME COMBO FOR THE FRONT DANA 44.

GETTIING A FEEL FOR THE WIDTH BEFORE I BOLTED UP THE BRAKES AND SLID IN THE AXLES, NICE EH, STAY TUNED!!!
