Currently, I am an assistant teacher in a pre-k class in a private nursery school in NYC. This is my third year teaching at this school. There are 17 children in my class and 2 other teachers.
My undergraduate degree was in inclusive elementary and special education with a minor in psychology at Syracuse University. Currently I am pursuing my masters degree in curriculum and teaching with a specialization in computer and earlychildhood education at Fordham University. I have been working with children since I am sixteen. I have volunteered to help children with their school work during and after school, assisted teachers in grading students' work, been a counselor at sleep-away and day camp, worked in after-school programs and worked with children with special needs. I love working with children and watching them grow and change throughout the year. It is so rewarding to make a difference in a childs' life. It is great to work with a child on a task they find difficult and finally have them master it. I really enjoy work with computers and I want to become a computer teacher for young children. People say I am funny, kind, loving, creative, logical, organized, technical, and a great teacher. I am a big sports fan and love watching the Yankees, Knicks, and Rangers. I also enjoy watching college football and basketball.
