Stitch Dictionary for left handers
-
Insert point of left hand needle into the next stitch.
- Place forefinger of right hand under
point of left hand needle and wind wool loosely 'away' from you, over top, twice
around needle and finger and once around needle only.
- Draw these 3 loops on left
hand needle through stitch on right hand needle, dropping this stitch from right hand needle
in usual way. Remove finger.
- Pass the 3 loops from left hand needle to right hand needle
and knit them together to make one stitch. Tighten loops at back of work.
- Be sure to
wind wool loosely enough so that finished loops will be at least 1 inch in length.
NOTE: You may use 2 - 4 or more loops to get the desired effect.Back to knitting page
