Stitch Dictionary for left handers

  1. Insert point of left hand needle into the next stitch.
  2. Place forefinger of right hand under point of left hand needle and wind wool loosely 'away' from you, over top, twice around needle and finger and once around needle only.
  3. Draw these 3 loops on left hand needle through stitch on right hand needle, dropping this stitch from right hand needle in usual way. Remove finger.
  4. Pass the 3 loops from left hand needle to right hand needle and knit them together to make one stitch. Tighten loops at back of work.
  5. Be sure to wind wool loosely enough so that finished loops will be at least 1 inch in length.
NOTE: You may use 2 - 4 or more loops to get the desired effect.
