English Angora fiber available 2004!

Chocolate, black, chocolate tort, and cinnamon organic English angora fiber. Fiber is from ARBA registered animals, from top bloodlines. Limited amounts available. Combed or plucked by request. 1 ounce - $2.50 (1 oz. is approximately a 1 gallon ziploc bag full). Fiber length is 3-6". Plucked prime angora $3.50/oz. Handspun 100% organic angora yarn is available for $10 an ounce. Hand carded rovings available for $3.00 an ounce.

(2 oz of black angora 1 ply fingering weight handspun yarn). Fibers are long enough so that the finished knit item will NOT shed. Shedding is caused by using clipped or shorn (sheared) or short lengths of fibers. English angora is the finest angora in the world. It tends to be softer rather than spikey. An old German remedy for arthritic knees was to wear angora knee warmers! Angora is very, very light. But is warmer than any other fiber by weight.

Knit items available by request. Baby down english angora occasionally available fiber lenghts are from 1-3".
