A'ight!

Well, the time has finally come to put some content up here, to try and give anyone who is still giving me a chance something to look at.   I'm sure this won't be quite perfect to start off, but I hope it won't be too shabby.   I have found that some brushing up on my html has been neccessary, and probably not altogether successful, so please be a little patient, and feel free to send some feedback.
As you can see, I'm going back to the frames for a while, but this time I will have a fully functional non-framed site, so if you don't care for them just click on the 'No Frames' link on the left side of your browser, and you'll be rid of them.   Please note, however, that I will spend the majority of my development time on the framed portion of the site, though many of those pages will probably be the same page either way you view it.   If this turns out to be a genuine pain, I will can the frames, again, but I don't think it's going to come to that for a while.
I will also be adding a development portion of the web site, to try out some things I've been working on, some simple java apps and a little perl as well.   Probably nothing very interesting, but if you are curious, links will be made available as projects come around.
As for the rest of the site, a lot of the layout will look familiar to those who have been here before, or "Gary" to the layperson.   I suggest starting off your tour by clicking the  About Me  link in the site guide, or by clicking the 'next' button at the bottom of this page.   It will tell you a little bit about me, and also a bit more detail of what else you'll find at this site.   You can also click on the  updates link to get brief whatnots regarding what I've been up to.   I intend to update this page frequently, so check it often.   If you care, that is.
Thank you very much for stopping by, eventually this page will be replaced with something a little more interesting, but I thought for the time being it was required, due largly to my poor site managment abilities.  Please use the  'mailto' link on the guide before you leave to let me know what you think.   I'll work on a guestbook soon. Thanks again, and please enjoy yourselves.
