I have owned Danes for over thirty years.
I joined Companion Dog Training Club. My first Dane trained me. My second I put a CD on her with scores of 182,1771/2, 182 at the age of six. I was still being trained.
I tried another breed, American Pit Bull Terrier. I put a UCD on him. We had a run off with for second place. 173,193,1771/2
I now Own Danes and Shelties. All of my dogs are AKC / UKC registered.
I work with 4-H children to train their dogs. We work in Obediance as well as a little agility. The children have put CGC's(Canine Good Citizens) on their dogs and will be working on other titles. |
