UPDATES

8/16/01 -- Many thanks to cleo for keeping me updated on all the Hearts in Atlantis goings on of late! First, here's Premiere's HIA page. Next, here is a new script review from the Tuesday Night Movie Club.

**A Washington Post article on Hicks:
Tail end of article: ***It's fitting, perhaps, that Tress recently served as inspiration for a film. Director Scott Hicks, of "Shine" and "Snow Falling on Cedars" fame, based the character of a middle-age photographer in his forthcoming "Hearts in Atlantis" on Tress. The character is called Bobby Garfield, and we first encounter him working in his studio, bent over a bellows camera. The script note for the actor playing Bobby says this: "He may not be either the most famous or most successful photographer around -- but he's up there."

And that sounds about right.***
