Daydreams at Night

I sink into it.
The clouds that 
surround me
penetrate my head
and fill my vision.
Perfect circles swim
behind closed lids
drawing me into 
an extreme world.
Breath for breath,
slowing too much.
Wonder where a 
starlit dream 
could hide.
Expecting a smile
around many corners 
could lead to trouble.
No...
I won’t think about
life as I never
plan my future
in my sleep.
