Lost and Found
Our school's lost and found is located near the gym doors. We already have many coats, sweaters, and jackets in the lost and found. We will be putting these out on a table from time to time and letting students claim what belongs to them. The problem is often they do not take time to look. Please encourage your child to stop and look! Usually after a month or so we take the items to the church clothing bank.
PARENT'S RIGHT TO REQUEST INFORMATION CONCERNING TEACHER AND PARAPROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Parents of students in Title I schools have the right to request:

2. Whether the teacher is teaching under emergency or other provisional status through which the state qualification of licensing criteria have been waived;
3. The college major and any other graduate certification or degree held by the teacher and the field or discipline of the certification or degree;
4. Whether the child is provided services by paraprofessionals and, if so, their qualifications.
Any parent who wishes to request information pertaining to any of the above may contact the Jackson County Schools Personnel Office by telephone, letter, fax, or in person. The contact information is:
Welcome to our Web Page. We are happy to have you as part of our school family. As you will see Kenna Elementary has many activities, both instructional and informative planned throughout the year. Our entire staff strives to make this a place of learning and enjoyment for the students.
Our parents and volunteers work hard to aid the staff in planning activities that make our school inviting. The PTO at Kenna supports the school with new additions, money for field trip expenses, reward items, and many other incentives. We urge you to become involoved in your child's education by volunteering: supporting the PTO, and attending the many activities planned this year.
